iPhone 5c storage glitch

Hello guys!

I really need your help since I got the ultimate glitch on my iphone 5c.

I have absolutely no images on my phone and I don't even have my icloud account activated on the phone because I don't use is, but still it shows I have about 163Mb on the photos gallery (43 photos and 2 videos)...

The other problem is that every single day when i check my storage, 100Mb magically has gone from my phone, without installying any kind of apps or transfering files...

I already made a factory reset because I bought my phone on saturday and on tuesday I went from 3.7Gb to 2.8Gb, but the issue continues...

I really need help since my phone is the 8Gb version and i can't afford to have 100Mb gone every single day.

Mooofy....thank you so much! Your solution worked for me!! I've been dealing with this issue for a week and even after a restore it didn't clear the storage issue. My phone would say I only had 300 Mb yet when I would sync to ITunes I could see I had over 7Gb. I logged out of iTunes and the Music app on my phone and waited about 5 minutes. I couldn't believe when I logged back in that I got my stprage of 7Gb back. Thanks again! You're a life saver!

HI, I totally understand the frustration. I solved the memory problem by resetting the iPhone completely after backing up with iTune. It took several hours because part of the procedure includes for iTunes to look for OS updates. It found a new update (9.3) and installed this first. Then the reset gets done and you will have the iPhone back to factory setting. At this point iTunes will ask to install the back up file, you say yes and that is the end of it. Now I have over 3.5 GB free and problem solved. However Apple should find a faster fix for this!!
