iTunes 11 Won't Launch on 10.6.8 (crash report)

I'm in a bind.

I attempt to open iTunes on my spare computer and it will bounce for half a second then crash. It never opens.

I have tried

• deleting preferences

• deleting iTunes Library

• repairing permissions

• deleting SyncServices folder(s)

• unplugging internet/wifi

Here is my crash report where it tell me thread 0 has crashed.

If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

I have since tried:

•installing the 10.6.8 Combo Update

Ouch. I wish you hadn't done that. As I said earlier there isn't anything indicating it is system-wide and the combo update is for system-wide files. Sometimes if there is an issue and people randomly apply update this and that then it can make things worse.

Well ... it's all pretty much moot at this point as I have installed Mavericks on another drive and took out all other drives. I booted up and selected that as my startup drive.

All i get is the GREY SCREEN. Now I'm up "S" creek without a paddle.

Installing the Combo Update was the only other solution anyone had mentioned as I already tried installing iTunes alone.

I think the issue happened when I accidentally deleted some CARBON CORE frameworks files.

But now, its seeming like a hardware issue maybe? As now it won't boot up with a fresh drive/OS.

I reinstalled Snow Leopard and now the computer is up and running....except iTunes. iTunes will not open.

ANY insight into the crash report?
