How do I copy text from other users' replies?

I have seen people post text from other replies in a discussion. Basically, it shows a screenshot of their reply and under it is your own. How do you do this? Is it something that unlocks at a future level?

I have been failing to get email notices from most "participated" threads since last Wednesday evening (CST-US). Not all that unusual fo every once in a while - but this never started back on its own as it has in the past.


Called support - gotta Case # - emailed Hosts on Friday - some improvement over the weekend, but not completely. I am tying to be proactive by trying various things


This thread was a misbehaving thread. My action on this thread just after I posted to you was


UNfollow > Follow using the check mark at the top of this page = WORKED!


On another New Thread today, I noticed that my reply did not automatically tick the Following check mark after the reply posted. Closing the Browser Tab and revisiting from forum list showed that the mark was ticked - but am waiting for a reply to see if I must tick>tick manually every time.


I hope this has made this more abundantly UNclear for ya.
