CONSOLE TEXT: Could someone PLEASE help me?

Hi all, I've had this problem for a long time where my MacMini becomes unresponsive and a spinning beachball appears. When the spinning beachballs appear I'm forced to wait until they go away but they return after a few minutes.

I tried re-installing Yosemite and that didn't do anything, but I DIDN'T erase the Mac's HDD.

I hope someone can help me!

This worked for me.

Had spinning balls, thought my hard disk was failing.

Followed these instructions and my Mac is really fast now.

Hey Svedel, thanks so much for taking the time to create that video, but running Disk Permissions was the first thing I tried. I've run RepairDisk and the Apple Hardware Test and it says that everything is fine so it's not a hardware issue.

You're welcome.

If you still get all those errors, I think your harddrive is physically defect. You could try a clean install of OS X, where you format the drive before installing. If that doesn't du the trick, you should get another harddrive/SSD.

Clearly an issue with "AppleSpell" but I have no idea what it could be. I agree that it looks to be the same problem that William Lloyd pointed you to and saw your post there.

You might want to go ahead and follow Linc's second set of diagnostic instructions then post them here so he can see them when he arrives.
