Can anyone tell me how to make fade ins and outs on an added music clip in a FCP X video?

So when I change the clip appearance I get the option to adjust the fades huh?

So THAT was the secret entrance to the hole bit about fades in/out, (change clip appearance). Thanks so much for your time and patience guys. Im so happy and now I am able to make some nice fade outs on my music videos YAY!
