Change Safari search to google

Is there anyway you can change the search bar in Safari to google? If so can you send me step by step on how to do this. I am new to iMac. I have Yosemite version 10.10.2 and my Version 8.0.3 (10600.3.18) of Safari.

I think the adware was offered by Stedman as a potential remedy since a lot of times a browser gets hijacked with adware and then leaves the user stuck with always being directed to a certain search site.
