Not yet. If your USB worked on one Mac, it should work on others. You can get a better deal on Amazon.

If you do not have Bootcamp installed yet, the BootCampHD variable may not exist.

Delete your BC partition only using BCA, nothing else. Reset SMC/NVRAM (or PRAM) twice. Run the same nvram command and post the output.

If you still see BootCampHD variable, then use the following command...

sudo nvram -d BootCampHD

Now try your BCA installation again.

My suggestion is

Option 1.

1. Erase your Winisntall USB.

2. Remove the BC partition using BCA.

3. Burn your Windows ISO to a physical DVD.

4. Download drivers appropriate for your hardware from Boot Camp: System requirements for Microsoft Windows operating systems - Apple Support to a USB2 disk.

5. Connect a SuperDrive and the USB. Insert Windows DVD.

6. Run BCA without creating the USB, partite your internal disk, and try installation.

Option 2.

Install a clean copy of OSX on an external USB flash stick (16GB+) or more using OS X: Installing OS X on an external volume - Apple Support.

Reset SMC/PRAM.

Boot from this new OSX installation and try BCA on the internal drive.
