ios 8.2 wifi dropping

Has anyone had wifi problems with ios 8.2?

I had to re log on to my wifi, after repeated attempts it kept saying the password is incorrect. After many attempts to connect i eventually got connected only for the signal to drop, then re connect a few minutes later, then drop, then reconnect again. This has been going on all day and also has caused massive battery drain.

I have reset network settings numerous times, powered down and powered back up and done several soft resets and none of this has helped

I have an iPad Air 2 with iOS 8.2. No improvement on the issues with WiFi which are just as you describe. I tried talking to Apple Support, they suggested a various tweaks in the Settings: Network Reset, (Privacy, Location Off) etc, and finally to try a full Restore. So I did a full Restore; it still dropped the WiFi and kept asking for Password, not accepting the right password at all. My iPhone 6 connects and works just fine. So I then returned the IPad unit to the store and they even gave me a new one. No change. Now, after reading what ChrispyT said, I am suspecting interference from the many other home networks around me (I see over half a dozen 'available' near me), so will try changing channels next. Perhaps the iPhone 6 is able to better ignore all outside networks?
