How do you cancel a current export job?

I have a very large video that is taking hours to export, but need to work on a different project. Is the only way to wait until the current video export is done?

If I click the top pie-progress-indicator, I can see the 20-hour video exporting, but have no control to cancel it.

For anyone whose problem persisted after trying the above solutions, try opening up the activity monitor and using it to force quit the encoder task. I used this to permanently cancel several theater uploads that were stuck repeating in the queue.

there is three dots in a circle and it has a drop down list. I deleted the one that was exporting and it went to trash. This stopped it for me. The video was still in my projects just didn't go to the cloud which i am thankful for! So from theater just delete it with the 3 dots in the circle. The x in there didn't show up for me so i clicked on it and deleted. Mind you if you wanted it back it is simply in the trash but your video that you made and all the pieces are still in your projects folder tab.
