iPhone 6 Plus (iOS 8.2) Displaying Wrongs Artist Names

Hello Readers,

I hope this somehow makes it's way to someone at Apple or anyone who may be able to help me:
A few days ago, I updated to iOS 8.2 on my iPhone 6 Plus (128 GB/Sprint). Then I noticed that the artist names were incorrect. First I thought maybe it was a glitch, so I restored my iPhone from my backup, but it was exactly the same. So then I checked iTunes on my Mac and everything was correct, then lastly I checked my iPod Touch which syncs with the same Mac and the same music and everything there was correct.
I cannot seem to figure out what's going on, because it all started when I updated to iOS 8.2, and it's very annoying because it's on some songs.

Some of songs that I noticed that are incorrect are Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good (Duet With Justin Timberlake)", when I play that song it says "Michael Jackson Feat. Akon" on the artist info, but that is not how I have it on my Mac or how it appears on my iPod Touch.

I purchased Michael Jackson's Xscape album both as CD and from the iTunes Store and both versions display the wrong artist info for "Love Never Felt So Good (Duet With Justin Timberlake)".

I thought Apple Team will fix this on iOS 8.3 or New update of OS X and iTunes 12.1.2. But I found no fixed problem here. Still the same. I dunno what should I do then. Things are getting worse here. What is wrong with Apple?? I've been using Apple product since iPhone 3G and this is the moment when I really disappointed with Apple.

I Called apple support and reported the problem. I also filled out the form on Apple.com/feedback. I gave specifics and good solid details. I am sure they will fix the problem soon. iOS 8.2 and 8.3 solved a lot of bugs for me. If they could just solve this problem I will be happy!

Me too. I just did that. Hope Apple will fix this super annoying issue on iOS 8.3.1 😐

I also upgraded to iOS 8.3 and still the songs that I have had issues with in iOS 8.2 are still there. The odd thing is that my iPod Nano 3rd Generation has no issues with artist names. So perhaps it's our iPhones that are having the issue?

Anna... You are correct. This is an issue with iOS 8.2 and 8.3 only. My ipod and iTunes are all correct with artist names. All versions of 7 and 8 were also correct until I upgraded to 8.2. I left feedback on Apple.com\feedback and I called the support line. I gave them specific examples. They will probably fix it in the next release.

I wish that iTunes Support or iPhone Support team can read our forums, but I don't think they are allowed to. ? I went to an Apple Store in the shopping mall near my house but they had no clue what was wrong withe change artist names.

I'm having the same issue. iPhone 5S iOS 8.3 just recently synced my iPhone and two of my Kpop artists have different names.

I've tried deleting from my iTunes library and putting them back in and re-syncing my phone but it still comes up the same thing. Another example:

Yup, had same problem here (iPhone 4S, iOS 8.3). Hadn't experienced this until last night when I purchased the new album "Shartistry in Motion" by Willam. It showed the artist as Alaska, Courtney & Willam instead of just Willam. Tried everything, changing the artist & album artist on iTunes and syncing, then changing back, deleting and uploading again without success. What solved this for me was to uncheck Sync Music on iTunes, syncing, and then recheck it and sync again.

Just adding the fact that it does not only happen with purchased music from iTunes, I downloaded a free EP from bandcamp and the artist name is wrong. It should say KOAN Sound, but it says KOAN Sound & Asa.
