Just bought a new Mac and upgraded to same OS as my current Mac, my questions is My current Mac running Yosemite 10.10.2 has an external hard drive for my iphoto and itunes libraries and another external hard drive which is my Time Machine.
What is the best way to set up my new Mac also now running OS10.10.2?
Should I use Migration assistant and simply plug in both externals HD to new mac?

Alright when I get home I will nplug both externals from "old" mac and plug them in to "new" mac and then restore from TM backup. Crossing fingers
Everything seemed to work well, Haven't had a chance to explore and make sure photos and music are where they are supposed to be yet though.
Also odd that all my contacts disappeared? Any way to retrieve them?
