don't get me wrong…I'm under the impression you're a beginner with FCPX. At the risk of sounding very German, I would recommend to start from zero, using these commercial tutorrials by my heros Mark and Steve from rippletraining. Short, hands on, sometimes funny, a joy to spend the other minute, and without sounding geeky, they explain the essence of FCPX. (consider English is an alien lamguage to me) ....

… aside you learn that special FCPX-lingo, which makes it easier to communicate in case of any ssues ...
