Can't browse the internet while making a phone call

Being able to support a call and internet usage at the same time on a specific device is essentially a carrier feature. Contact your carrier

Go to settings / cellular / cellular data options / enable LTE / choose voice and data

ATT&T Does allow this by default - I have read several replies that Verizon does not support this. That is not the case. my company recently switched to Verizon with my iPhone 6S and I had this issue. On Verizon dial 611 walk through the IVR and get to someone in support, tell them you cannot use data while on an LTE call and they will add/enable the feature. Took me about 2 minutes and kudos to the Verizon tech they were super helpful and got me surfing while on calls again.

Thanks so much for the info...while using iPhone 6...I was able to use the internet while I was talking on phone, but when I upgraded to 6s, it didn't automatically turn on LTE voice & data, so when I turned on the data part, I am able to talk on the phone & send msgs, use the internet at the same time now, like before...I am with Sprint as long as I'm in LTE service area. Woohoo! I just hated not being able to talk with my friends & look up things on internet or even send messages! Thanks again!

Now I had an iPhone 6 and Verizon and was able to be on the phone and internet but my husband could not. Now I have spring and iPhone 7 and can no longer do both I think it's a phone issue

Cellular Data settings

Enable LTE to Voice & Data

There now you can browse while om the phone with Verizon

Verizon definitely does support simultaneous voice and data. I make use of that feature quite often on my Android phone.

Same I have the 7 plus tho. I don't know why I can't be on the phone at the same time as using the internet...

It's a carrier limitation...

Discuss it with your carrier. It is their restriction. If they do not support it, there is nothing that you can do.

Only your carrier can provide you the answer to this. If they don't support it, then there is no "solution".
