Since my husband and I updated to the new 8.3 our emails are not working. We get an error message that says:
Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed.
We use Yahoo, Gmail and Outlook. Tried to have a chat with apple this morning however they kept trying to tell me it was my phone...anyone else encountering this issue all the sudden??

My Yahoo account started working again on my IPad this morning. I did not change any of the default mail settings to get it to work.
I Just added yahoo mail manually and now am having no issues
Got the same problem on an iPad Air upgrading to 8.3.
Deleting the yahoo account and recreating it does nothing.
I can use my email, but I keep keep getting the
"Can not connect to yahoo mail server", over and over..
Let me guess, we need to backup and reinstall the IOS, sigh.
email still works fine. but I still get this message from time to time.
I updated my old iPad 2 from iOS 7.x to the latest 8, just to get the mail working as it had some issues, just to discover that e-mail is not working on 8.3 😟
It checks the mail and acts like there is now new mail, while there actually is new mail...
I had similar problems on my iphone 5s. Restarting the phone solved the problem, without any other fixes.
Well, like I said yesterday, if you manually set up your yahoo mail as opposed to using the default wizard setup it works fine -
I Followed your instruction and deleted my virgin email and reinstalled it manually. It's all working fine again. Thanks
Nope just delete the yahoo account and set up manually instead of using the wizard

Yeah, the only thing that worked permanently was to remove the yahoo account and add without using the wizard.
The deal is, "why should we have to"?

For smtp.mail.yahoo.com I used Port: 465.
I had issues with 587.
If I didn't have so much stuff registered with Yahoo I would just dump it.
It has morphed into an unreliable bloated gelatinous glob.

After upgrade to 8.3 My Exchange Account (Office365) in Iphone 5s it´s Crazy!
Some messages is missing! Others disappear!!!
I never had these problems.
Also I Enabled Siri (because now it´s in portuguese/Brazil).
I dont know what´s going on!!!!!
For now, i disabled (delete) Exchange Mail Account from Iphone and some contacts are gone! (crazy)
