Apple Watch Pre-Order Issues?

What is the benefit of pre ordering if we have to wait to June for it to be shipped? We should be getting on the date it comes out on April 24, 2015 not have to wait to June to get our apple watches. I want a apple sport watch but not wanting to pay all this money to wait until June to get one of these. My husband and kids are buying me one for mother's day. I workout 7 days a week at the gym and would love a handy device like this. I haven't decided on the color or size. For a woman should we get the 38 or 42 size? I have a iphone 6 and ipad air 2 and now need the apple sport watch to add to my collection.

When it comes out on April 24th will other retailers have them for sale like Best Buy?

I have a question for you, please. I pre-ordered an Apple Sport watch for my sister this morning. When doing the research, I thought that I had to choose a watch face and a strap size, but when I ordered, the only choice was 38mm or 42mm and the strap color. Does the watch have interchangeable faces? I'm confused about this. Thanks in advance for your help.

The choice of 38mm and 42mm is the size of the watch face. You don't have to choose a band size on the Sport models because they come with two bands, one of each size - S/M and L/XL.

I ordered mine as soon as the site came up and it took me only 7 minutes (12:17am PST, site didn't come up till 12:10am PST) to order and I had no issues except it shows delivery as May 13 to May 23rd. Am totally disappointed as 7 minutes into pre-orders is not the way Apple has ever worked before. This is my first time pre-ordering and was told that it would be the best way to get the watch. Will I ever pre-order again, probably not. It was a better experience standing in line 7 hours for my new phone that this experience I had. I hope that Apple has learned something from this experience as this is a good way to loose customers.

I ordered a 42 mm space gray sport at 3:02 am Eastern (with email confirmation at 3:04 am) and have a ship date of 4/24-5/8. My husband ordered the exact same watch about 3-5 minutes later (he had to put the right credit card number in) and got a ship date of 5/13-5/27. We both ordered using the Store app on our iPhones.

Ordered 42MM SS Milanese Loop April 10th with a email confirmation time @ 3.13am Eastern. My delivery date has a window of: May 13 - May 27.

I ordered mine at about 1:02am Mountain Time and got the confirmation email saying 4/24-5/8, seemed to be right on time. I had no issues. I hope its 4/24.

I Ordered my watch at 3:04am EST. got a delivery date of 4/24-5/8, seems like people that ordered from their phones using the apple store app were the ones getting earlier ship dates as the regular apple site wasnt up till a few minutes later.

I Pre-ordered my Apple Watch as soon as I could and it went through at 3:04 AM EST. Mine still hasn't shipped,is anyone else having this problem? I am big Apple fan but am very disappointed by this!

What delivery date were you given? I'm guessing 4/24-5/8. It is not yet May 8.

Same issue, stayed up, had it ready to order and dates given to me are May 29 - June 11, what ****** me off is a friend of mine ordered a day later than I did and he got a notification that his delivery dates are from April 24 - May 8 and we both ordered from our phones? We also are getting the exact same watch??? I don't get it? We all least I will have the extra watch bands I ordered for a few weeks before the watch actually comes in... such a joke..
