10.10.3 has broken bluetooth peripherals again

When first upgrading to Yosemite 10.10.1 I had trackpad and intermittent keyboard issues on my iMac. It was fixed with 10.10.2, but appears to be broken again in 10.10.3. I am going to stop upgrading on day 1 of these updates--always 1 step forward, 2 steps back at apple lately.

@Headygodness - I used your "workaround" as well, and it appears to work, of course it's only been 10 mins. This is much better than shutdown the machine, wait 10min and startup.

BTW - I didn't have any issues with Bluetooth connected devices until about a week ago (week of 7/13). I had updated the MBP (Retina mid-2013) back on June 30th. For whatever reason, Bluetooth just stopped connecting to my devices (magic mouse and apple keyboard). I was apprehensive about the upgrade to Yosemite due to all of the BT issues I had heard about, but never had a problem until last week. Not sure what changed, but big time PITA!

24 hours later and back to the same issues.

Came into work this morning, woke the computer, as I put it into Sleep mode when I left yesterday; mouse and keyboard connected just fine.

Took the computer to a meeting, w/o keyboard and mouse, came back to my desk after meetings, and keyboard and mouse can no longer connect.

I've run the Bluetooth unload/load command numerous times without any affect. I've stopped/started Bluetooth numerous times, with not luck.

I've shared my issues with several co-workers and all are stumped. Aside from visiting the "geniuses" what other options are there.

Similar problems here with bluetooth headphones and continuous "jumps" in the audio. The same headphones works perfectly with other devices, but not with this Mac Mini late 2012 running 10.10.4.

None of the published workarounds have helped me with this issue. The only way to get rid of it is to reboot the Mac Mini.
