No video support with iPad lightning-VGA adapter (iOS 8.3)

Does anyone know if this issue is only happening for the VGA adaptor? Does the HDMI adaptor work or are they both affected by what seems to be the 8.3 OS update?

Yes. My issue was the same with the HDMI adaptor.

I tested my lightning to HDMI last night and it works fine. Just lightning to VGA has stopped for Amazon & NetFlix. This is kind of stupid since VGA out works just fine for Amazon & Netflix using my Win 7 laptop. Apple should refund us our $50 plus cost for disabling this with IOS 8.3.

Over two months since the original post and still no solution for the lightning to VGA adaptor.

Using an iphone 5 with iOS 8.2 ran Netflix on the TV display using the VGA adaptor with no problems. After updating to 8.3 all other functions/Aps work except Netflix, now featuring a blackout screen. You might even glimpse a frame of what you were watching before it goes to black. Why, Apple, why?

I made the $55 lightning to VGA adaptor purchase specifically for watching Netflix using the iphone. Now it's way beyond the return policy. Months of silence with no fix feels like a total disregard for the customer.

Netflix customer service indicates it is either an oversight or totally intentional to force an upgrade. I am a sucker. You're killing me apple. What else can we do but request the support of your own products.

Does anyone know if this has been solved yet??

Seems to be 5 months since this was first logged and this problem is still happening on my iPad. Or am I missing something??

Has anyone figured this out yet? I have avoiding upgrading for fear of this sort of thing. Netflix was no help, and I am not happy with Apple either. Can I uninstall iOS 8.3? Watching Netflix has been one of my major uses for this device, and it worked wonderfully until the upgrade 3 days ago...

Some of us are still looking for a solution to this problem. IOS 9 certainly didn't fix it.

I have an iPad mini with a lightning-to VGA adapter. I used to be able to mirror its display to a computer monitor, but it stopped working. I'm guessing it's the same problem where Apple broke this with the iOS 8.2 upgrade. I'm not even trying to watch Netflix or anything. It just doesn't work at all anymore. Really obnoxious.
