Adding photo to Word Document

dwb, thanks that worked! Takes a few extra steps but at least I can do my work. Hopefully Apple will get this issue fixed.

Does the Media Browser work in other apps - Pages, iMovie? Mail?

I have outlook for my mail and photos does not appear in the browser box. So this must be a problem with the office products for apple.

Terrance, Did the repair permissions and restart but it still only shows iPhoto and photo booth. I have office 2011.

I have both 2011 and the new beta of 2015 or whatever it's called. Works in both. The new sharing system is different from the old XML file so I'll look and see what I can find.

A couple of folks have reported that launching iPhoto first, fixes this problem.

Terence, you're using the Office for Mac Preview software. The issue has been fixed in the new version, due out later this year. This is not helpful to the Word 2011 users who have this question.

I take we are still waiting for this to be resolved. I have been using the drag to desktop method too ... annoying as it just clogs up my desktop space if I forget to remove the photos.

hey terrence, any idea how to get my Photos library to show up in the word/office media browser? like others, i can only get my old iPhoto library. thanks.

What version of Word do you have? THe latest MS Office should show Photos in the media browser
