Why isn't the text able to snap to the centering lines in Final Cut Pro

If you create your text and choose "Paragraph" as Layout Method (in the Inspector, Text, Layout)

and set Alignment to Centered (in Inspector, Text, Format), the Anchor Point for your text will be at its very center.

Cool, that helps to standardize.

But what if you need to resize the paragraph editing box, to make longer or shorter lines, or to remove a line with only a single word, at the end? Since this box doesn't resize from the center, it is a little tricky (once you have text in it, on Final Cut timeline).
