I keep getting the following notification to enter my Google password in internet accounts since updating to 10.10.3. I have Google's two-factor authentication enabled and have already entered my password through internet accounts but I keep getting this notification every few days. I have tried removing the account and adding again, but the same thing happens.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
Ok this was a serious pain.
What i did to resolve this issue was :

I have a similar problem. Just bought a new iMac with system 10.11.5 and installed Google Chrome and Thunderbird. The latter is my preferred email software. However, whenever I send an email out the Google Mail login dialogue box appears asking me to log in to Google Mail. I close it and carry on in Thunderbird but it is most annoying.
I'm trying it for the annoying occurrence -- on my MacBook and iPhone 6 -- since the 10.11.6 update. It's only been about 20 minutes, but that's a record.... 😉

After reading many different sites and each not working, this turned out to solve the problem. Thank you!
It all makes sense now, because my notes stopped syncing with Gmail around the time I turned onto 2-step Authentication on my Google account. However, I didn't start getting the password requests from Apple notes until the past week. Strange.
Hey, I have the same issue. As app password are obselete since OSX 10.10.3, it didn't fix the issue for me.
