Sticky Digital Crown
Has anyone else's digital crown developed a stickiness/stiffness?
Mine was fine for the first 4 days and turned really freely, however today it has developed a bit of resistance when turning it.

I had this problem on day 2 of owning Watch 1 when it first came out. I was horrified.....tried to get Apple to exchange it ....but the answer was simple .....turn it off and run under water.
I challenged Apple stating that the Watch was not waterproof according to them...but they said it would be fine
Sure enough it works. I have done several times

This is hardly a solution though.
I posted to MacRumors and they have run an article using some of our posts.
Might get some more information.
TThe Apple support site has been updated - it suggests warm running water - n soap
I have the same issue, but the solution as described on the website does not work.
I tried this solution. In first few days it seems worked.
But today i found my watch's digital crown sticky again and more severe than I first found this problem.
I don't know what I can do with that.
Same issue here... Digital Crown sticky after every sport I do
Apple Store sent it to repair, i'm still waiting some news (5 days without it yet, it's hard...)
On the one occasion I experienced this, a rinse with warm water, per Appel's suggestion, fixed it. That was about 4-5 months ago and I haven't had a recurrence. It really only takes a minute or two
Don't worry about the running water. I've had this occur 2 or 3 times. A few seconds under warm running water has worked each time.
I rinsed mine with warm water it solved the problem
