Notifications on both apple watch and phone?

That's what I find infuriating. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. It also excludes some activity measurements apparently if the wrist detection is not on. This still needs to be addressed.

I saw this as well, however if you research, there is a whole laundry list of things the break when you disable Wrist Protection

So this means my phone will light up with the text i receieved? And my watch will beep? When i get that alert at the same time

This is exactly why I haven't kept any Apple Watch I have tried. I want notifications on both devices (at least text messages)

I want my notifications on both and not sure why its not possible.

I submitted a feature request. I'm sure I am one of many who have, as this issue has been on discussion boards since the Apple Watch 1 was released

But uhh i have heard that turning off wrist detections allows you to see both so like turning off wrist detection on your apple watch will allow you to recieve notification on both devices

And lose other functions.

Why can’t you just allow both notifications as requested?
