Ipod disabled for 23,000,000 minutes
My daughter turned on her ipod touch tonight to discover that it has be disabled for 23,000,000 minutes. We are confused by this for a couple of reason:
1. she didn't have any failed log in attempts that would trigger a disable.
2. Why is it locked for 40+ years! Several minutes, an hour a day - a week maybe even. But 40 YEARS?
I've read the replies that the only solution is to restore the device. There must be another way. It is unfair to ask a user to go through such extreme steps, investing time, loosing data and content, based on some bizarre security rule.
Please advise of other options.
Thank you.
