Having so many problems sharing photos on Facebook

Using iPhoto with Facebook was a great way to share photos with my friends. The new Photos app with Yosemite is not so great. After figuring out that the Facebook upload limit was 50 photos (is there any way to have the number of photos selected to be displayed somewhere on the screen so that I wouldn't have to guess?), I learned that:

1. I couldn't create a new Facebook album in Photos. Instead I had to upload to the Timeline, and then change the album name from "OS X Albums." Not critical, but it would be easier for me if I new which albums on Facebook I was publishing to.

2. The photos on Facebook were uploaded out of order, necessitating some rearranging the photos after the upload. Would there be any way to upload them to Facebook in the order I intended? With 50 or more photos it would be a lot of work to get them in the right order. Having them uploaded in the correct order will save me a lot of time.

3. I also added descriptions to most of the photos. In iPhoto the descriptions would also be uploaded to Facebook as captions for each photo. The new Photos app didn't include the descriptions with the photos during the upload. I prefer to have this feature so that I can add the commentary before publishing them on Facebook. Would that still be possible? I would like it so that I wouldn't have to type up the captions twice.

Same here, I used Iphoto for years with no trouble at all. Great program with many advantages over this new version, I have a lot of trouble even trying to get all of my old near 40k photo's into the app in the first place and then suffer headache after headache trying to share where before it just happened at a click... May time machine the **** out of this mess as so far El Capitan is slow and its programs unwieldy. APPLE, YOU HAVE FAILED ME.

I agree, iPhoto was leaps and bounds better in simple usability compared to photos, but its like everything Apple, the rarely unbreak it, just update the update so as much as I find it hugely annoying and somewhat of a downgrade? I a sure it won't change back. Time to learn Photos for me. But yes, the Facebook interface is bloody awful. I ended up bluetooothing the pics to my laptop and uploading from there.

You know something, I have found that the thing about offering "help" is this..... If you have to use sarcasm to prove intelligence, you probably don't have intelligence enough to continue. Food for though. Maybe to be polite and not blunt is a better way of asking someone to clarify. Stops the threads from degenerating.

For me, the solution to the problem was to use Image Capture to import the pictures into my pictures folder, and then use the browser uploader in Facebook. Then you can make albums with them, order them, and do as you wish.

Very annoying. I just updated to Sierra recently from Mavericks, and I thought I could share albums created in Photo, but it just posts them to FB as random "OS X" photos.
