Bluetooth On iPhone 6 keeps dropping connection to AppleWatch

I am running an iPhone 6 w/ iOS 8.3 and on the second day of receiving my  watch, the connection has continually dropped. I can see the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar at the top of the iPhone flash on and off, and when I check the Bluetooth in Settings, it says it's not connected to the  watch.

Sometimes I will see the disconnected iPhone icon at the top of the  watch. If I notice, I toggle the airplane mode on and off and it reconnects.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I'm having a similar bluetooth drop issue in my car with my iPhone 6s. In the middle of a call, I'll hear the disconnect tones... my stereo kicks back on... but the call is still in progress. A second or two later, the phone reconnects to the car's bluetooth and call resumes. Very annoying, and it did not happen with my iPhone 5 in the same car (made hundreds of calls over three years with that combination). It's happened at least a dozen times over the last three weeks with my new 6s.

No other bluetooth devices in the vicinity, and the 6s is the only device paired with the car - I removed the 5's profile (not that I should have to - the bluetooth spec allows and should handle multiple devices).

I get the above problem when i am driving my 2015 Mercedes c400, the bluetooth drops every 20 to 40 seconds. Both my phone and display in my car constantly reads " disconnect/reconnect" every 20 seconds.

Here's the thing when I am in my wife's 2015 BMW x5 I don't have the same problem.

I am having a similarish issue with my iPhone 6. About ever 24 hours or so, I have an issue where my bluetooth connection drops, but I also am noticing that I also cannot connect to any WiFi networks. No WiFi networks show up in the list, and if I try to connect to my Apple Watch or any other bluetooth device, my iPhone says the connection failed and to be sure that the device is within range and powered on. I have to turn off both bluetooth and wifi for a few seconds and then turn them back on in order to regain functionality.

My understanding is that the iPhones use a combo WiFi and Bluetooth chip, so it sounds like the chip is getting out of whack at some point and turning both features off and then back on resets the chip.

At first I thought it was a hardware issue with the chip dying, so I brought my original iPhone 6 to the Apple Store about 4 months ago and got it replaced while it was still in warranty, but now the issue is happening again, so either I'm having the worst luck or there is actually some kind of software issue.

I am having the same issue. I have had the pone for over a year and within the last month it started dropping my vehicle connection on a daily basis and my Charge HR. I have to reboot my phone every day in order to solve the issue. Both my Charge HR and Vehicle have been connected to the phone for over a year as well. I don't understand this sudden issue.

Well, it appears that they still haven't fixed this. My three year old Samsung was dying so I "upgraded" to the iPhone 6 and now I can't manage a conference call without my Plantronics Legend dropping on and off constantly throughout the meeting. I've gone to Plantronics and downloaded any new software they have but it still keeps happening. I've done everything suggested on this thread and still no luck. I cannot stand talking on a smartphone. I purchased the headset specifically to conduct business on my phone and I can't stay connected to bluetooth. Has anyone had any luck with anything or are we still just waiting for Apple to fix this problem?

I have an iPhone 6 and 6s plus. The 6s plus connects and then disconnects to my Pebble watch but not a problem with the 6. I turn on a Motorola Bluetooth headphones and the iPhone 6 sees it but the 6s plus does not. The 6s plus only sees it when I disable then reenable the Bluetooth. The 6s plus regularly connects, disconnects and reconnects to another Bluetooth speaker I have. Apple, please fix this problem. It is unbearable. My 1 year Apple care just expire a few weeks ago. Both phones are running the latest iOS 10.0.2.

I'm having similar issues in my car. Usually while trying to stream music via BT on my iPhone 6S. Just got the phone this summer, previously had a 5S with no issues in this car. Now it drops BT all the time, especially if I ask siri to play a different song, or another app pops up with a notification. Most of the time I have to go to the control panel on the phone and turn off/on the BT tab, or sometimes even reconnect it altogether. Total pain. All of this while I'm driving, no less. I'm current on all the apps and software updates on the phone. Hopefully an update on the OS will fix this?

I just got an iPhone 7Plus less than a week ago. Exact same issue, here. I have a 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Sync 2 and have had an iPhone since Gen1, so I am not a noob when it comes to albeit basic coding and related IT issues. I started getting these weird "dropped" calls - and by"weird" - I mean the ilstener on the the other end of the call never gets the sense the call has dropped - only I do. My radio kicks on and then after 5-10 seconds (with the party on the other end continuing to talk) they had no clue the call was dropped. What I found interesting is the receiving caller is still showing as active on my iPhone screen (with the time-of-call-clicking-upwards when I check it while driving (I know...I know....a big safety no-no....) but when I depress the "speaker" icon on the iPhone7 - I can continue the conversation with only having to turn the radio down as Sirius is too loud to talk over while tying to wrap up the phone call. Is that a clue to something I am missing? Since it is less than 7days old and would exchange it in heartbeat other than the fact they had limited quantities of all models and the fear that the problem would just persist? Has anyone here exchanged with success (or not)? Thanks in advance. Glen

Are people still having this issue? As of about 3 or 4 weeks ago my phone was doing the exact same problem with the cars hands free kit. I have an Apple Watch 1st Edition and a 2015 Mazda 6 with latest software. Mine appears to have only started since the iOS 10 upgrade. I am using tethering via wifi for data and Bluetooth for calls. If I turn tethering off on the phone during a call where the call drops out it appears to stop the problem - this is annoying an I need data for my sat nav traffic system. I also have a 6 Plus as a company phone, this is also on iOS 10 and this works perfectly whilst I tether off my personal phone - I've not tested tethering from my work phone as well as making a call to see if it also has an issue. I will try this. I am reluctant to reset network settings as don't want to lose all my saved wifi profiles, has anyone had any luck fixing this problem by doing this? 3 months ago the phone was fully wiped and restored from a backup (not setup as new phone!). Thanks
