Youtube video turns into a black screen randomly

My youtube video will randomly turn into a black screen. I can still hear audio. I am able to click on other places in the video and even turn the video to full screen and the video display will come back on. But it will randomly turn to black at weird times. It usually happens about 1 or 2 times in a 2 minute video and is getting really annoying.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Me too, it's on chrome and safari, and it is randomly...

On my Windows PC it doesn't happend, Apple have to fix it.

You can go to the Advanced preference in Safari and check the Show develop in menu bar box. Once you do that, go to Develop in the menu bar and change the user agent to Firefox Mac which should force Youtube to use Flash instead of the HTML5 player.

Yeah, it worked to me, but Apple needs to fix that, flash eat's battery... 😟

I am also facing the same issue with Mid 2015 Macbook Pro.

I have also uploaded the video on youtube to get more help.

I too have just started having this problem on my 6 month old Mac Book Pro 13". My screen will randomly turn black while watching Youtube videos. If I move the mouse the screen will reappear for a random period of time, sometime a few seconds, sometimes longer. This only happens when in full screen mode. I have tried all the solutions given in this thread and none have worked.
