Anyone else having issues sharing movies to youtube since updating to iMovie 10.0.8? My movies are around 35-45 minutes long and when share is about half way finished I get the message "iMovie has quit unexpectedly". I have restored back to 10.0.7, and it still works fine.
Yes indeed it crashes when uploading to YouTube and doing a few other things. I love this application but it's got to be the most crashable app Apple has. As soon as they update it to fix an issue they always create one or more new issues. The way I get around the YouTube upload crash is; Libraries/ All Projects/select the film you want to upload/File/Share/File/Next/Save it to the Desktop then drag & drop it in the YouTube uploader.

10.0.9 just released.
Says that it fixes issue with YouTube.

I was getting crashes uploading to Facebook too. Need to test that out.

Just tried the new iMovie 10.0.9 last night, and it worked! Yay!!! It sure did take Apple a while to fix the glitch in 10.0.8, but I sure am glad they did. 🙂
Same here. No crashes since the upgrade. Hope it stays that way!
Any resolution to this issues? I have the same problem. Both my computers are brand new. One is a $1200 iMac that Apple sent me directly from China because it is fully loaded and they don't have those in stock. The other one is a $3200 Macbook Pro. ***. Why does Apple suck so much lately? **** iCal also has known synching issues. I get error -50 on iTunes sporadically, which many people report. Apple is going down hill. I have been a customer since 1986 and have converted many to Apple but they are becoming hard to support. Over $100 billion in cash and they still ignore their customers.
I haven't had any problems since I upgraded to 10.0.9
Try upgrading to 10.0.9. It will probably solve the issue.
I also haven not had problems since updating to 10.0.9.
