10.10.3 on Mac Mini Late-2012 graphic issues

Ever since I updated 3 of my Mac Mini's (all late-2012 models) I have been seeing graphic artifacts on the screen randomly.

If I move a window over the artifact area, the artifacts go away. I haven't seen this issue until recently after installing 10.10.3.

2 of the Mac Mini's have Core i7 cpu, and the other has Core i5. All have maxed out 16GB of RAM and SSD drives.

Here is a link to a video of the artifacts when they are happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1NzMvof0j8

Has anyone seen this, or know if this is an open issue that is being addressed?

i have found turning transparency off in accesibilty in system preferences definetly helps a lot. I've had transparency switched on again the past week since upgrading to 10.10.4 hoping the problem would of been resolved but i must say i had forgot how frequently i was getting these graphical artefacts as they have been happening frequently every day since i have switched this setting back on. I have now switched transparency off again the past day and the graphical artefacts are practically non existent. Suggests to me a software issue but I'm no expert. Anyways give it a try

In some instances, the newer upgrade OS X and associated firmware advances make

reverting (download install previous purchase OS X, etc) an unlikely prospect. One may

hope that if you had a Yosemite OS X 10.10.5 on a suitable boot drive, it may prove the

point one way or another. Install OS X on an external drive.

Since my 'recent purchase' of this Mac Mini (Late 2012 i7 quad-core 2.3GHz server)

is now little over a year old, direct from Apple, the option to try Yosemite has passed.

Some other options to get free software update to the included versions (former iLife

& iWorks equivalent) appears to have vanished from App Store as of last week. Not

much of an answer in these observations, though.

Since I have other older computers which do OK but had no forward upgrades...

I'm rather sorry to not have found a restored model happily running Snow Leopard. 🙂

Has anyone resolved this error? My issue is far worse than most of your descriptions. My system hangs & restarts every time I get the error, which also covers the whole screen.

If I attempt to clear the screen, which must be done quickly, by removing the HDMI cable, I get a bit of "snow" like you used to see on a TV, except colored.

...And then it hangs and restarts. It also hangs and restarts if I do nothing, usually within a few seconds of the original error appearing. I've filed a bug report with Apple as well.

Mac Mini (Late 2012), 2.5 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 500 GB original spinning HD. Mac OS 10.11.3, though I've only recently upgraded. I've had the problem on multiple OS X versions. I don't know the exact time (in relation to OS version) that it started.
