No text tone sounds from Iphone when paired with Apple Watch

I tried this, & it didn't work for me. :-( Is it only if the phone is unlocked? Before I got the watch, even though my phone was locked, I would still hear my texts. Now I don't.

I just did this and it worked. I turned off the text notification form the watch and now they are back on my phone.

Everything has already been explained. Read the thread from the beginning.

It isn't a problem, it is working as designed. There is nothing to fix.

Yup already done that. It’s just nice to see how many others are having the same issue. Then I know it’s not just that I have missed something.

Yes, exactly. Once the watch is paired with the phone, the watch becomes the primary notification delivery device.
