iPhone 6 plus sudden shut off and won't turn on.

HAppened to me after upgrading to ios 10.1. I did hard reset and stuck at apple logo. Probably need to restore it

I never had this happen until the last software update (which I seriously don't think is an improvement at all!). Mine only turns back on when plugged in for a few minutes. It turns on and shows a charged battery. I have not tried resetting for 30 seconds, but you still lose what you were doing, and get the white apple screen every time this happens... annoying!

Add my entire family of 4 i-phones to the list. Never happened until Iphone 6. Seems to happen outside, when the temp is about 50 degrees or less. 40% power.

Please help my phone has been off for a week iPhone 6 at first would only work hooked up to iTunes then iTunes wasn't able to read the phone at all if I leave it alone for a day and plug it up comes on but as soon as you take it off the charger cuts back off I've done hard and soft reset I've done restore and also holding home and sleep keys the problem still remains

Well, it sounds like it is well beyond any help you can expect to find here. Take it in to Apple and have it looked at....

ive done that by holding down the home and power button at the same time, plugging into the computer.. charging etc and nothing is working. this is the first time this has ever happened...

Mine has done the exact same thing. Is there a fix for the 6plus?

No. What did Apple say when you took it in for them to look at it?

they fixed it, no explanation, sent it back, it was not under warranty any longer, but so far, I have not received a bill.

What kind of phone do you have? And BTW - updates are not forced. You can choose to not do so. I never upgrade until I'm ready, which is sometimes months later....

I have a Iphone \6 S and I thought so as well. I ALWAYS select 'no', but yet the past 3 updates have occurred when I have gone to bed, much to my dismay.

I am not 'eligible' for this program...
