Music app crashes after I try to play recently added playlist

for months now, when I go to my recently added playlist and select a song, the app crashes. I did a hard reset, I've updated my IOS software, I'm not sure what else to do or why it's crashing. My ipad is the iPad air and is hardly a few month old. I only have the music that's in my recently added playlist everything else had to be downloaded from my cloud if I want it. (I didnt want all my music on here so I set it that way) not sure what to do to help this issue. If I go to recently purchased it works, srtist, song, any other way to select a song works except recently added playlist. Any suggestions or reasons it may be doing this?
