The spacebar on my new 12" macbook is not working properly on the right side. Is anyone else having this problem, if so, is there a solution?

It feels like it is bottoming out on that side, i don't really know how to explain it. If I press it more towards the middle or on the left side it works fine.

Yup it's definitely an issue with the new 12" keypad. From the day I got mine the return key has barely pressed down (like perpetually bottomed out), and now the right side of my spacebar is fully out as well. I need to get it into the genius bar but I am an hour away so I was going to wait to do it. Now can barely type. Awesome. Good thing we pay top dollar for Apple products that are supposed to be top of the line and somehow I always end up with a major problem with a $1300-2300 laptop from them. Also my screen goes black like twice a day randomly and I also have to log in twice every time repeatedly.

This just started happening to my 12-inch MacBook too - right hand side of the spacebar. Just Googled the issue on the off chance that someone else might have experienced the same issue and was really surprised to see as many users reporting the same problem. I'm already on to my third 12-inch MacBook and have also lost one Windows 10 licence as a result of build issues. The first two returns were the result of the display coming into contact with the trackpad and when closed leaving etching marks in the display...
