macbook pro storage glitch

When i check my storage in system report it says i have two disks each have 120gb but one of the disks is full and the other has 42 gb left, it was like this when i got it. My grandma bought me this mac and she said she bought the 256 gb version but when i check about this mac it says i only have 120 gb.
