Call History showing up on another iPhone

Hi,

Hopefully you can help.

I use my phone for business and we have noticed in the last few days that all of the calls I make and receive are appearing in my wife's iPhone recent call history?

I have hunted high and low in settings on both phones but with no joy.

It is only affecting calls i make, not the other way round? so i am not seeing calls my wife makes on her phone in my recent call history?

It is also not affecting text messages...

We are both using the same iCloud account but the inconsistencies above suggest its something more involved (or very simple!)

The slightly odd thing is that it only seems to do it when my phone is at home, i went out this afternoon and the calls made/received have not appeared on her history. so maybe its a wifi thing?...but...

I also phoned vodafone when i got home to see if they could help (they couldn't!) and that short dial number is also not appearing on her history?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3

I've had the same problem. Just found a setting under Phone that says Calls On Other Devices. It was on. Turned it off and will see if the problem is resolved.

Very irritating setting. Why would you want to do this?

I am NOT sharing my ID! Stop saying or suggesting that. I am sharing it WITH MYSELF. There is no reason to and no way I would ever have TWO apple IDs for two devices I use.

This issue is entirely about two devices getting recent calls mixed for no explicable reason which started in May. This is a BUG. There is no reason for it and you high level trolls need to get out of this thread immediately or be helpful.

I am NOT sharing my ID. I am using it properly across multiple devices I OWN.

FYI we share icloud because it allows us to have a synchronized calendar, "find my iphone" and contacts under the same account. But this **** is weird. If I find anything, I'll share it here.

It's ALWAYS a mistake to share an Apple ID.

Check out Family Sharing. Among other things, it allows you and your wife to have your own personal calendar(s) AND a calendar that you both share AND "Find my iPhone" allows both of you to find both phones. Contacts are separate but you can always transmit vcards to each other.

All of you guys are taking this super super seriously. There is a fix to resolve the issue and you will not lose any functionality. Don't take it personally, but sharing your Apple ID/iCloud Account just isn't something Apple recommends, and you may run into trouble by doing it.

Why are all freaking out and attacking everyone that's providing you with the answer you're looking for?

Immature responses? Seriously?

I don't think this is much of a stretch, but I'm going to guess that you're a hard core Fox News fan who doesn't believe in global warming, and believes that vaccinations cause autism and a host of other medical problems.

As has already been said, refusal to accept the truth will not alter reality.

Maybe you should just get yourself a BlackBerry or a Windows Phone.
