The Maps app on the Apple Watch doesn't work!

Hi, So I have the Apple Watch Sport and it seems like the Maps app doesn't work. It's only a grid and no map.

I have reboot my phone and watch and that doesn't help. I also unpaired the two and then paired again and it still doesn't work!!

Does anyone have a solution for this??

Thanks.

Still not working for me either. Interesting to read the different posts on this thread and other threads with the same issue. Some people are able to eventually bring up a map, while others (myself included) still see the beige grid despite using other people's solutions. If I hear back from an engineer/Apple Support person about this, will be happy to post what I learn.

Glad to hear it worked for you iBagwan, and thanks for sharing. Definitely worth it for people to try what you did. If it helps followers of this thread, here are things I've read that people have tried on various threads and have apparently worked (although not in my case):

1) rebooting the watch

2) rebooting your phone

3) re-pairing the two

4) hard resets of each device +/- re-pairing

I think I have a solution!

My fitbit was paired with my iPhone as well...

I just unpaired my fitbit

turned off the bluetooth

reset both Apple Watch and iPhone

turned back on bluetooth

waited a a minute and tried the Maps again

And it just started working!!!

I would try that!

If you don't have another device paired, I would still try turning off bluetooth and resetting both watch and phone and then turn back bluetooth on.

But wait a minute until you try the Maps app.

Good Luck!!!
