Whan you will again support YouTube on 2nd gen Apple TV?

According to my problem, that there is missing YouTube on my Apple TV 2nd Gen .. and this article https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6098135?hl=en, where I found, that is no longer supported I have question: Is there some upgrade for solving this issue in the road map??

That would be a penny-wise, pound foolish approach. They're not going to just stop supporting applications such as Youtube on AppleTV devices. Youtube is a "too big to fail" application/website/service that is used to even help educate med students. Apple's got a strong foothold regardless, and they got there by focusing on building high quality products to integrate into users home lives. It'd be an uphill battle to successfully compete with Youtube, but if they went about it, they wouldn't do it by starving their users of Youtube. That's not how they got where they are today.

I suggest you read the TOS you agreed to when you purchased Apple TV. You are trying to compare two different things, even there it would be the service provider and not the manufacturer mind you.

Apple simply removed an app that no longer functions, as did others. Google is responsible for dropping support. Users can still use AirPlay or mirror and it is far from useless.

I don't care.. it doesn't change fact, that it's now useless for me.. Try to imagine that you buy a phone and after some time won't be able to call.. You have been paying for device not for content.. Do you think that this is OK??

However, you still have your device and it still works. The software agreement that you agreed to when you purchased the device indicated that not all content may be available forever. That is out of Apple's hands. You want to go on a rant, your target is not Apple, it is Google.

Yes, or wait a while for 4, but how we can know if after next several years it will be unavailable again. It's not about device it's not about a Api and not about Tos it's about the utility. And when I pay twice then in competitors I want service.. Which includes communication also with Google to provide good benefits. And when something will come.. I WOULD LIKE TO BE NOTICE.. Not just turn on Apple Tv to play some funny video for my children and notice that YouTube isn't there.. Childe was screaming whole evening.. we all customers of apple are children's.. Why they don't tell us that from that evening we newer see the fairytale..

You don't

Yes it is, because google updated the APi and this requires newer hardware. The TOS specifically states that content can change at any time without notice.

Apple TV pricing is in line with similar set box boxes, it has now also been discounted. PS Vita also had it removed, as did certain smart Tvs (both of which cost significantly more).

It isn't an Apple issue. If you want to complain contact google.
