Hi everyone,

I've looked around and don't quite understand the "answers" I'm finding.

Basically, I want to transfer some files from a G5 running 10.6.7 to an iMac running 10.10.2.

I have a big directory full of folders, and when copying, I get a message that says

"Items can’t be copied to “(my named folder here)” because you don’t have permission to read them."

I've found a file that I can't copy, but even when changing the permissions, I get the same message...

Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to copy the whole 1.3 gb folder without hunting down every offending file.

thanks,

Andrew
