AMD Radeon R9 M370X Struggling to play games (i.e. GTA V) - bootcamp

Hello I am running bootcamp with windows 8.1 pro.

I have the latest retina Macbook pro (mid-2015) with AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics, with 2.8 ghz processor and 16 gb of ram.

it's completely maxed out spec-wise, yet it struggles in bootcamp, for games.

I haven't been able to try it with other games, but with GTA V it is really struggling, it lags, even when the lowest resolution settings are on, and is next to unplayable.

Is this what I should expect with my maxed out macbook? Or is there another issue that maybe causing this.

Thanks in advance!

Things I have tried:

- Update graphics drivers, (which windows says its up to date) but I'm unsure if it is or not.

What I'm saying is, straight up when windows 8.1 is installed, what are the programs I have to download.

I was referring to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003 , please give me links if possible, thanks 🙂.

I actually listened to your advice from the last time, to not go with the 2012 model, so I went with the middle 2014 MacBook Pro 15 '' Retina 750M with 16GB of ram and 512GB SSD, it cost me 2200$ CAD/ 1687$ USD

This link is VC++. Unless you want to write code, you do not need this. Did I give you this link? If yes, can you give me the context or the link to the thread this came from?

From http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/86506/en-us , please verify and then download
