Has iTunes match gone haywire?

My music artists are all over the place, I noticed it this morning. Just out of blue on all my iOS devices. It makes no difference if the metadata matches for artist, album artist, sort by artist, sort by album artist, ensure compilation is unticked. Many songs are coming up in strange places on the artists view in the iOs devices. Lots of entries under various artists popping up. I have a list of cliff Richard four times under artist as an example - its just crazy. Happened out of nowhere. I only really noticed earlier as back to work started listening to my songs but ic ould of been at the weekend it went all wrong. My iTunes library is perfectly sorted. anyone else seeing strange entries crop up amid their artist list. Could the impending Apple Music be wreaking havoc with match?

Everything's good on my iPhone 5S after the 8.4 update. The only thing I did have to do was go into settings and sort the music by title, that fixed everything back to how it was. Whew!

Scotty, no duplicates whatsoever. However, what I didn't mention was that at first, it still appears totally corrupt, but let the app do its work. It cleans up the library and puts it back exactly how we had it before. In fact, I really like the new app. Way better than before.

About the only thing I *don't* like is how you now have to go into a submenu to download ("make available offline"). They've taken away the little download buttons, which made that process a bit quicker. But it's not a huge deal. No functionality has really been removed.

Sounds good. Its driving me nuts being stuck at work. I want to get home and install it!!!! I wonder why they haven't released an iTunes windows/mac update yet. You'd think they should be done in tandem

Alas, I'm still having problems on my iPhone 5s after the update. Some albums still show the wrong artist on iOS (e.g., Chrome Dreams II and Live Rust show "Neil Young and the Shocking Pinks" instead of "Neil Young" and "Neil Young and Crazy Horse," respectively; on OS X, these are identified properly). Also, in some instances, albums are split between a "remastered" and "standard" version; e.g. Music from the Big Pink by The Band; one song is from "Music from the Big Pink (Remastered)" and the rest of the songs are from "Music from the Big Pink" — these show up as two albums. All of these albums are albums I originally purchased from iTunes. They appear correct on OS X, not on iOS.

Some artwork is still incorrect. Including Beatles Please Please Me LP which has some stupid party LP cover.

This is a worry to hear. Did you have match still enabled on your phone before updating? I wonder whether this has an impact or not

Is that the new toggle to disable and re enable match, or does that reside somewhere else now?

I'd recommend checking the metadata yourself in iTunes, they may be tagged incorrectly if they were purchased. Ditto on the album artwork issue. Change it yourself manually in iTunes, don't let Apple do it for you. I've done that from the beginning, which may be why I'm not seeing these issues now.

It's only showing music I had downloaded to my phone...any idea how I get it to show the music stored in the Cloud?
