iOS 8.4 crashing on iPad

I just installed the new iOS 8.4 on my iphone and ipad and the ipad keeps crashing. It will launch to the home screen and then reboot over and over. It looks like a new update will need to fix the problem. Canyou say 8.4.1?

Iphone seems to be working fine.

I'm seeing the exact same problem. Thing is, no VPN, no Bridge-whatever, but it's acting exactly the same.

I tried a hard reset, no good.

Turned off my modem / router (so no wi-fi), no good.

It gets to the home screen (not long enough to actually click anything) and then reboots and goes to the apple logo and then the "Update Complete screen. .

Unfortunately I installed the update without a recent backup. I don't think I have much stuff I'll lose, but... Is there anything new to try?

I suppose it's some rouge app, but no way to know which one.

HELP! And thanks!

Same here, no VPN, no time to login to the device. I see my home screen for a split-second and, before I can swipe to unlock, it restarts. Same deal with trying to restore from iTunes. As soon as I get the message to allow my computer to access, the iPad restarts and iTunes shows a connection error. Other forums say third party cables are the culprit but I'm using my original cable and the lightening port is clean. Resets do absolutely nothing. I'm stuck in this reboot loop with no way to interrupt the cycle.

This "update" caused my iPad to completely crash - I cannot even get it to the point where I can restore from a previous version or restart it as a new device. Apple puts out a software update that causes their customer's devices to crash and then charges the customer $200.00 to fix it!! IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS THAT GOING TO HAPPEN!!! Your flawed "update" is the cause of the problem and yet you expect ME to pay to fix your mistake. How foolish do you think your customers are? I am not so blindly loyal to Apple that I am going to pay for what is clearly a problem that many people are having after this latest software update. I can get a new tablet from another company for less than what you are trying to charge me for a repair so I am off to buy a Samsung Galaxy.....

I Have installed iOS 8.4 on my iPad. It continually shuts down - screen turns blue then black. It eventually restarts. Battery draining really quickly too. It is so bad that I was tempted to buy a new iPad until I saw all the messages with problems and I realise it is just a rubbish upgrade. How can I do an uninstall of the software to get rid of this crap version??

I see there have been nearly 7000 views of people trying to find out why their iPads are crashing.

I am new to posting, but I do wonder if it is a bit pointless? Does Apple ever have the courtesy to respond? Doesn't look like it.

Poor customer service really. Actually I can think of more descriptive words but will leave that to people's imagination.
