I've created a playlist in Apple Music in the My Music section, i heard a tune on beats radio, searched it and added it to my playlist, yet nothing adds or shows up?? also i go to add it again and the only option is "remove from my music"... but i can't see the track?
any help or advice?
Hi! This is a very frustrating solution but i have found a fix. If Your On Iphone All You Have To do Is go:
SOLUTION:
(On Iphone But Read to The End for computer) Go To Playlists -> Tap The Playlist You Wanna Add A Song To -> Press Edit At The Top Right -> Press Add Music -> Search The Song You Wanna Play And Select It -> Then Press Add. The Song Shows Up One The Playlist (Finally lol) If Your On Mac Or Computer, Still Do The Same Process On Your Phone, and it should automatically Connect And You Should Have The Music On Both Devices. I have the same problem. I can most of the times add songs to my playlist when searching from the "For you"-tab, but when searching for a tune from eg "New" or "Radio" (directly translated from Swedish) and trying to add it to a playlist NEVER works. This is when doing this operation from an iPhone or an iPad. When adding songs via the Music-app on my MacBook, everything works just fine.
This must be a bug, right? Is Apple aware of this issue? Because it really is a dealbreaker. Extremely annoying.

Apple Music obviously has a bug, which is regarding playlists, and no one should have to Google stuff to sort this out - it really should work by itself.
So far this has worked for me. Adding it to "My Music" first. Then adding it to the respective playlist fixed my situation. Thanks for the tip man! Hopefully that's the final fix.
I actually switched back to Spotify. this issue and losing my offline music every once in a while were too much.
ssame issue. i am really trying to like Apple Music. Yesterday I spent a couple of hours listening to music and all the while adding to a playlist. Getting that little check mark animation that is telling me my song was added. Then today I look at my playlist and one song out of all I added is there. Clearly this software does not work and I can't believe this is a paid service???!!! The free ones work better. Horrible. What a waste of my time.
I have a very similar issue. There are playlists in "for you" area. If I like one and click "add to my music", the icon changes shortly, indicating it has been added to my music. But when I get to the area "my music" - playlist is missing. And yes, i checked and rechecked 100000 times all settings, logins, etc. it just doesn't work. Never.
It looks like Apple has removed the 'add to playlist' feature from Apple music, probably to drive people to purchase music from the Apple store. Im not impressed and will be going back to Spotify.
Try turning your phone off and then turning it back on and about a million songs get added because you have been trying it a million times by now.
Tried. Even updated iOS to 9.0.2 - no change. More than that - now the from the playlists disappear items, I recently purchased.
This has been driving me crazy. Thank you! that totally fixed it.
It's possible that you have the "only offline music" toggled so when you add a song that is not a saved for offline listening it doesn'y show.
Solution: turn off the 'only offline music" then the song will show; save it for offline listening thentoggle the "only offline music" back on.

Hi,
Select 'FILE' Option, then select "NEW". You get an option "PLAY LIST". Select this and you have a new Playlist now added to your existing play list group, and can give any name of your choice.
The track which is added to the library(by using "Add File to Library" under "FILE" menu), may be now drag and dropped to the new Playlist created.
Hope this will resolve the issue.
