I updated to iOS 8.4 and now my GPS isn't getting data quickly, when using Maps or Waze for directions it take so long to figure out where it's at it's pretty much useless. Anyone else having this issue?

I´ve exactly the same issue, after updating to iOS 8.4 GPS is nearly unusable. Have you done a clean setup or just updated over the air?

Same issue here. It's only affecting my iPhone 6+. First I thought GPS is completely broken as WhatsApp reported first GPS not available or similar. Using Apple Maps I waited several minutes before lock whereas at the same spot my girlfriend with her iPhone 6+ got lock within seconds using iOS 8.3. Tried restart - same symptoms.
Tried later at home iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, iPad Air 2 -- all worked fine although iPad took also surprisingly long time to lock compared to what I think it used to be.
Still waiting for the perfect iOS update. >:(
Edit: did also OTA this time instead waiting full n GBs download via iTunes.

I initially did the OTA. After I found this issue, I rolled back to 8.3 as a new install to see if it was anything I had installed. Then OTA updated again to 8.4, same issue. So I rolled back to 8.3 and restored an iCloud backup.
This is an iPhone 6, so sounds like the problem might be isolated there....

I also have this issue, iOS 8.4 on an iPhone 6+. Waze can't connect to GPS and Google Maps seemed to struggle to find a GPS signal---and this was in downtown LA, not in the boonies where a problem with GPS signal might be expected.
IiPhone 6, 8.4 beta 4 was fine. 8.4 OTA GM broke GPS. Terrible Apple!!!
SAme issue here. iPhone 6 OTA update. GPS is not working correct it shows me that I am 10 km away or is not working at all. Same problem with Navigon, google maps and buil in apple maps
I restored to 8.4 using iTunes on my MacBook, then I restored a backup. That worked, I have no idea why, but I have access to GPS again. It seems the issue was the OTA update.
I fixed mine. Reset Network Settings and hard reset did not help. I finally went into Setting, Privacy, Location Services and toggled it off, then back on. Fixed my GPS issue.
I've got the same issue. iPhone 6+ OTA update earlier today. Now my Google Maps navigation is useless...doesn't locate me very well and updates only every 10 seconds or so.
For me, OTA update for iPhone 6 broke GPS tracking in the Nike + Running app & Waze. Google Maps & Maps seem to be OK. Let the troubleshootin begin, ugh...
+1. 8.4, iPhone 6+, Waze = no GPS. Works in Google Maps.
+1 Same issue. Not working with Navigon nor with Sygic on iPhone 6 plus
Seems that Apple Maps works ... just as if Apple has changed some important API point ... with no advise :-)
Going back to 8.3 ...
