iTunes 12.2 MiniPlayer View Broken (OS X 10.10.4)
Has anyone else noticed this? There are no play controls at all and the artist/track information is cut off at the top of the MiniPlayer. It's pretty useless like this.

This is a pesky intermittent issue for me on 10.10.4 and iTunes 12.2.
It happens in Podcasts only for me and a workaround is to select another media type e.g. an Apple Music radio station then go back to Podcasts and the Miniplayer will then be displayed correctly.
Regards,
Derek.
That workaround didn't work for me. If I go from iTunes Store previews (where it's happening) to My Music (where it isn't), I have to play something in My Music to make it disappear. Then when I go back to the iTunes Store and preview again, it happens again.
It's also happening to me in iTunes Radio. What worked there was:
1. Click the up-down arrows to expand mini-player
2. Click X to close mini-player
3. In Window, select mini-player
4. Click the up-down arrows to collapse mini-player
using the free Silicio app in the app store. Not as small, no volume, but it works.
I had some similar issues with the mini-player. For me the 'up next' button was missing for some reason. However, resizing the mini-player window (I just grabbed the left edge and dragged) caused the whole thing to snap back to the proper size and all the controls that were missing reappeared. I think there's something weird going on with the default mini-player window size when you first upgrade to the latest version.
Same issue (Mac Yosemite 10.10.4/iTunes 12.2.0.145), MiniPlayer view broken on Podcasts but working for music. A modified version of Charles' fix worked for me;
After this I'm able to swap between music and podcasts and they all work in the MiniPlayer.
Spoke a little too soon. Problem has returned, albeit now with only a very slight shift up that doesn't lose any of the buttons, and the above method doesn't fix it any more. Oh well, at least it doesn't make the MiniPlayer unusable.
