iTunes 12.2 MiniPlayer View Broken (OS X 10.10.4)

Has anyone else noticed this? There are no play controls at all and the artist/track information is cut off at the top of the MiniPlayer. It's pretty useless like this.

Mac OS X (10.7.2)

I had some similar issues with the mini-player. For me the 'up next' button was missing for some reason. However, resizing the mini-player window (I just grabbed the left edge and dragged) caused the whole thing to snap back to the proper size and all the controls that were missing reappeared. I think there's something weird going on with the default mini-player window size when you first upgrade to the latest version.

Same issue (Mac Yosemite 10.10.4/iTunes 12.2.0.145), MiniPlayer view broken on Podcasts but working for music. A modified version of Charles' fix worked for me;

  1. Click the up-down arrows to expand MiniPlayer
  2. Click X to close MiniPlayer
  3. In Window, select MiniPlayer (both main and MiniPlayer windows should be visible)
  4. In main window, play a music track (presumably anything that's not broken in mini-player mode)
  5. Click the up-down arrows to collapse MiniPlayer

After this I'm able to swap between music and podcasts and they all work in the MiniPlayer.
