iTunes 12.2 song ratings missing

So I installed iTunes 12.2 on a Windows machine and a Mac and there's a big difference. In the Windows version, I can only "heart" songs. The 5 star rating system is gone. I checked the Mac version and the 5 star version is present and working.

Is it only me or did Apple actually mess things up with the Windows release?

I have the same Problem as leedave. The old Play list has the old look, but when I put in some new songs into playlist the NEW LAYOUT goes into play. I have to right click, scroll down to select rating, and them choose a star rating. It used to be a nano second deal, not a 5 minute search. Can we choose a Classic Look like they did on Winamp with all the old controls. I hate when I finally get used to using the stars for my DJ playlist and all the sudden Apple throws you a curve ball.

So my iPhone still displays all of the ratings that I've given my songs over many years, but my iTunes is missing a least 90% of these ratings. Some of them are correctly marked, others have the grey stars instead, but 90% of my music no longer has the ratings I've assigned them on iTunes. WHY.

The smart playlists on my iTunes now do not match the ones on my iPhone. For example I've created a playlist of just 5 star ratings - it appears correctly on my iPhone, but is empty on the iTunes.

Please help!
