Can't change Country/Region after cancel Apple Music membership !

I can not change Store Country on my iPhone after cancel membership (turn off Automatic Renewal), still always get message "To change stores, you must first cancel your Apple Music membership". How can I do ? Please help me, thank you.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4

Hello, I have the solution for this problem. This is the most popular thread on the 1th side on Google so I decided to share it with you.

After you canceled the Apple Music subscription and you'll get the error message "To change stores, you must first cancel your Apple Music membership" you have to do the following steps:

Go to the App Store
Click on the picture frame in the right upper corner
Scroll down to sign out and click it
Close the App Store
Go to Settings -> click on your name on the top -> iTunes & App Store
You will asked if you wanna change the store country after you tipped in your Apple-ID, so click on confirm
done

I hope this help. I very happy because my Apple Music subscription expired in December.

I have an iTunes Match subscription and have to wait half a year to change region. I cannot use any banking apps or access local content. It is shameful.

Same thing happened to me, only solution is calling Apple and asking them to cancel whatever is left of your free trial, takes 2 minutes and then you can change the region right away.

Hey, there. I found it tricky to return to your previous region if it has accidentally been changed by signing out first and then signing in.

Same issue with my account as well.

i want to go back to my previous store and i can not.
