Apple Airplay does not work for Music Radio channels

As for title, is just me and my setup? (1 Apple TV, 1 Airport Express, 1 MacBookPro 2014)

The new Music works fine and I can listen through multiple speakers using AirPlay.

The same doesn't apply if I tune into Beats 1 or the BBC for that matter.

Any idea if this is a bug or a feature?

Thank you

On my iMac using El Capitan and using Beats 1, I managed to partially resolve the problem by going to System Preferences, Sound, and choosing Airport Express instead of computer. It's still not convenient as choosing the drop down arrow to choose multiple output speakers, especially as I have two AirPort Expresses connected to speakers but at least I can now listen to Beats 1 through speakers that are far better than the iMac ones.
