Cannot unfollow artists in Apple Music @Connect

iPhone 4s

When I go to @connect and follow some artists then I cannot unfollow them: their posts are still in my @connect feed. Besides, @connect says that I'm still following 10 artists but I'm not following anyone now. Please help!😢

Any new updates from the artist you just unfollowed will no longer appear in your connect feed. Things that they shared previous to you unfollowing them will still be in the connect feed.

I have the exact same issue. On my iPhone it thinks I'm following 32 artists yet only 20 are in the list. I think it's some sort of bug linked to the artists you select as those you like when first setting up Apple Music.

I thought that there may be a way to view all artists you are following in iTunes and then do some sort of unfollow all, but I can't see that option anywhere?

Click on your name in the upper right with the drop down, then click on your name and it will open a side window with "Name" and "Nickname" and at the bottom is a check box next to "Automatically Follow Artists", uncheck this and all the artists you have added their songs but don't care to follow will go away.

No, I do not believe that does the trick. I think all that does is disable the automatic following of artists whose songs you add to your music library in the FUTURE? It seems to me (with confusing UI) that artists you are already following remain. The same toggle exists in the iOS app. I've had it turned off since I first noticed it, a day or two after Apple Music debuted. And yet, in iOS, next to "Following" it says "1645."

It's very strange. I want to UNFOLLOW ALL and then maybe manually follow only a handful of artists. Instead, because of this annoyance, I just end up avoiding the "Connect" tab entirely...

Similar breakage with @connect here. I never used auto-follow, but my following count went from ~100 to ~2000 without apparent reason. Now I can't follow new artists at all, even after manually unfollowing everyone I originally added, count still shows > 2000 but the list is empty.

I wonder if it actually broke when subscribing to iTunes Match, which I added to Apple Music a few months later.
