iOS 8.4 Battery Life

I updated to the new iOS 8.4 software yesterday around 4:00pm while at work. When I unplugged my phone and left work, the battery was at 100%. However, it hit 10% really quickly considering how little I was using it. When I woke up this morning, it was extremely hot even though I had not been using. After having it unplugged for 2 hours and spending about 30 minutes listening to music on my way to work, nothing else, the battery is already below 50%. Anyone else having this issue? All of my settings that help you save battery life are already adjusted, so nothing has changed in terms of background use.

like a lot of people now i also feel my relationship with apple products is coming to an end.

With every update there are always continued unresoved problems such as poor battery life and the devices just are not reliable enough now to go the distance.

The iphone overheats like crazy and dies, and the ipad needs to be on charge for most of the day, (on that ridiculously short cable) and even then the brightness has to be lowered. Even the keypads keep us acting like Pavlovs Dogs because they are not sensitive enough to detect what is being typed when using the screen.

Now also since the 8.4 update i have to reboot time and time again throughout the day because it drops the signal so often.

Lets face it, none of us need this Or so many other varied and reported problems. Not in this day and age. In my opinion, Apple are really lagging behind the competition now on unresoved performance issues.

If they cannot resolve it and give better service other than the so called 'genius bar' as far as i am concerned, they can keep their products in the future and sell then to the japanese.
