After downloading iOS 8.4 my apps won't update anymore. (iPhone 5)

I tried restarting my phone, logging out of apple ID and logging back in, closing the app. Nothing will work.

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4

I've got the same problem, (and issues with battery drain, email and other stuff) since updating to 8.4

I've tried everything you have, and you're right, nothing fixes it.

Did you subscribe to 'Music'? I didn't, and I'm wondering if it's caused some sort of hang?

Switch off. Switch on. Re boot. Wi-fi on. W-fi off. Change settings here, there and everywhere. IT STILL DOES NOT WORK. They say you have to sort out the BAD apples in life. Come on Apple. FIX IT.

I need my phone for my business - some of the apps are vital.

Does anyone else have a magic wand and know how to fix this issue? I really have tried everything I can think of and have read most of the posts here.

"Cannot Connect to App Store". Nice one CrApple.

Also, worth checking out if safari has a wobble. It is a problem on my phone this morning. Sometimes not working at all. I have to switch wifi off and got to cellular to get it working. Then I switch wifi back on and it is OK.

My teenage son says all his mates have the same opinion of CrApple. Sounds like a PR disaster building up over the next few years. Switch to a Windows Phone instead and vote with your feet.

I have an iphone 6 and this just happened to me out of the blue. Everything has been fine and I've been on 8.4 for a while.

The app store would show I had several updates. Click "update all" (or even click on any one update) and the circle would spin forever and never download anything.

Here was my fix:

Went into Settings---iTunes-& app store. I logged out and logged back in. I noticed that some, BUT NOT ALL of my credit card information was on there.

I went back through all of the credit card information and finished filling it out. Click "DONE". Everything was updated.

Then I did a hard reboot (Hold home and power keys until device shuts off and then comes back on).

Went back into the App Store and clicked "Update All" and everything went smoothly.

I have no idea how or why some of my credit card info got deleted from the phone. But that's what was missing and that's what was keeping me from updating even my free apps.

UNDERSTAND............just completing the credit card information alone was not enough. I HAD TO DO A HARD REBOOT AFTERWARDS.

But that's what worked for me. Hopefully, this helps someone else.
