Download Stuck in "Paused" Status

I don't want to download it again because 4 GB is already downloaded before it got stuck. So I just wanted to know that is there any way to resume this download without losing data?

open app store, go to "purchased" tab, you should see the el capitan beta with a download button on the side...worked for me

Hi, I have the same problem! I managed to delete it from the launchpad but once I restarted the download from the store it got back to paused...

On the "Purshased" tab, press "ALT" and you will be able to click cancel download 🙂
